Sometimes around 6+ hours into a flight – in my head I become that kid in the car that keeps asking, “Are we there yet?!” I can feel myself starting to get anxious and uneasy as I check the time again – and only one minute has passed.
With I am sure of more than 1,000 hours of flying time under my belt I can still feel like its my first. When I feel myself starting to feel this way – I immediately put on this playlist (linked below) – I get as comfortable as I can with whatever I brought for warmth. Take about 10 really deep breaths (well this was pre-covid anyway) and with my for flying only headphones I would almost immediately feel better and it will usually calm me enough to sleep off the remaining hours.
