Easter in the 305

Bienviendo a Miami! First of all let me start by telling you the end of the story…Te Amo Miami!!

But now to set the scene its Easter weekend, myself and 5 of my closest girlfriends decided to get away. We left back the drama, the jobs, the men, the kids, and all the worries. We vowed to have a weekend full of laughs and fun, and celebrate the love we have for one another and our many years of friendship. These women are my family and are like sisters to me, and one of them really is (:

Once we checked into our beautiful boutique hotel, Circa39 the first order of business was to get into our swimwear and head to the hotel lobby bar, where we sipped away the last hour of happy (: then headed to the beach.

We realized soon after arriving that the sun was starting to set, but that didn’t stop us from sitting out to watch it go down, and drink the libations we packed from our hotel room while listened to music

After a quick shower and change of outfit, we headed out into the night, first stopping to have dinner at Sweet Liberty, voted the best bar in MIA. We literally ordered one of everything, even the different servers smiled as they delivered yet another delicious plate of food 😛 If you go you gotta try their cauliflower nachos, their guac, swordfish tacos, the liberty burger, crunch green tomato, ohhh and the elote!! …yes shamefully we ate all of that haha (: Our waitress was so amazing, she gave us a list of happening spots to check out while we were in town for the weekend. So eventually we rolled out of there feeling full of

We moseyed over across the street to this cute outdoor hotel bar, had shot of espresso then headed back to the hotel for our last outfit change before experiencing our first night in the streets of MIA…below was my look for the night.

Talk about turnt up! We had such an amazing night, dancing and meeting lots of very friendly people. Miami definitely won that night, I was hungover so badly the next day 😛

If you have never been to Miami, it is a definite place you must add to your travel list. The culture, the scene, the overall vibe, sometimes we felt like we weren’t in the states! I will write separate posts about the Wynwood District, and the Silent Disco Party we went to as well! So make sure you go check out those posts too!
